I want to make sure we get all of our MAA Elite members submit there work to the AiMe Awards this year. If you have a great animation that is up on the plasma please take a few minutes and submit it to the awards.
Bigger and Better than Ever. The new AiMEs will recognize work from all departments of the school and we want to have all the amazing animations that you guys do filling up the big screens! All submissions will be judged by industry professionals. This year they being held at the COOLIDGE CORNER THEATRE and will really be an amazing event.
This is a great opportunity to get a school wide animation award and put it on your resume and demo credits. I know many industry professionals that list their animation awards proudly next to large studio jobs and Game/Film credits. Employers and artists respect animation awards because they know it's is an honor received by professionals and peers for great artwork.
There are 3 categories for Animation so you can submit one animation or one for each (So any student could have 3 submissions!) The categories are:
- Best of Animation
- Excellence in 2D Animation
- Excellence in 3D Animation

March 10th so please get your work in ASAP.
